Short CoursesENNEAGRAMThe enneagram has been found by many to be invaluable in understanding not only themselves and their relationships with others, but also their relationship with God. It gives insight into how we are all divinely gifted, but it shows also how we manipulate these gifts, so eventually they can become traps and addictions that reduce our capacity for loving. This can limit the ways in which we can appreciate God’s presence. This course will be an introduction to the enneagram, and will focus primarily on how it can be of help for spirituality and prayer. No prior knowledge of the enneagram is needed. Presenter Patrick Oliver
May 14th 9am-3pm THE MBTI (MYERS-BRIGGS TYPE INDICATOR) In 1921, Carl Jung wrote “Psychological Types”, which explored how human beings differ in personality, and how these differences are expressed. Since then, thousands of people have benefited from Isobel Myers’ and Catherine Briggs’ adaption of Jung’s work. Terms such as “introvert” and “extravert”, “intuitive” and “sensate” have come into the English language, and are derived from Jung’s work. This course will help participants to appreciate not only how we are gifted in our personalities, but how an awareness of our differing giftedness allows us to appreciate more the differences of those with whom we live and work. It is a way of helping us to learn how to love. Presenter Patrick Oliver July 23rd 9am—3pm CHRISTIAN DREAMING We all dream! Why? What for?
